    ^I'm surprised yet slightly amused that this is your take-away from the post that you quoted.

    Self confidence is for the unspoken fact that you're being blamed for 75% of any/all problems, even when it's not your fault.

    But if you're making mistakes (knowingly or not), then yea, it is your fault. You ARE actually tanking poorly, and not just being perceived as such
