    Best way to deal with hunts would be to make a true mini game that everyone has access to. Put the A ranks on like a one minute respawn timer, but loot lock them like Alex/CT/etc. That way you can only kill each A rank once a day for seals. Groups will go into PF looking for 7 others to help them do hunts. That's 10 hunts a day or 400 seals a day from A ranks, plus 110 seals from dailies. 510 seals a day, plus 100 seals weekly from B rank, plus seals from S ranks and possible old world hunts is more than enough to upgrade your gear. This also forces groups to actually do the mechanics of a hunt, which were actually fun when only a few people were 60.

    I think they should honestly just remove the system altogether or make it instanced like treasure maps. It's been busted from jump street and it's all the fault of the players. We the community have proven time and time again that we are the reason we can't have nice things like open world content.

    I don't see why they even added the hunts again. Most players hated to do it in 2.0, so what were they thinking? "Hey let's just add more and make it the only way to upgrade gear to i180 *troll face*". I know you can do daily hunts to get seals, but still.

    Next live letter: "We are working on other ways to gain gear upgrade items. Please look forward to it.". I don't get why they make the same mistakes over and over again..

    I agree with OP.

    I dont so hunts cause I know ill just get frustrated when someone pulls when Im omw there.

    It is really annoying being in a zone where people start using foul language i shout because someone "prepulled"

    Also is this the way they want people to get best gear? Fly to different mobs and click 1-2-3 and reward.

    Give us some centurion marks for roulettes so we have other more fun eays to obtain it

    I always figured the hunts would be a little more community-friendly if they were not immediately aggressive, and couldn't be attacked/pulled for a certain amount of time after an initialization trigger of some kind. Gives everyone time to get there and get organised, and "early pull" would be impossible so not much left to fight about.

    What about changes to Hunts?

    They're toxic for the game by design.

    They breed bad blood, they're not healthy systemically.

    People can argue it's the players' faults but put a bunch of prey in a room of ravenous wild dogs & see them behave civilly.

    The designer/system sets us up to fail. SE has spawned a macro-societal issue through Hunts.

    They aren't healthy for the game.

    It is easy, super easy in fact.
    I dont think you understand the point, there is individual daily clant hunt quests you can do yourself each day killing 1-3 normal mobs for seals, you dont HAVE to participate in the large scale hunts

    Open world contents can be fun & fair at the same time. Take GW2 for example, usually there would be a chain of several dynamic events (FATE) leading to the main boss one, so people have time to gather & be ready when it happens, while impossible to rush early. Some bosses require people to do different events at different places on the map in order to be spawned, as part of their mechanics. Not to mention events being scaled with number of people participating, but I guess that's impossible for FFXIV as it was suggested since 2.0

    If the dev still find it hard to do, the simplest solution in my opinion would be giving hunt bosses a 5-minute Invincibility buff, so no one can kill them, and would be killed instead if they start pulling early.
