A serious discussion about abridging the story quest 1-50 (discouraging new players)

by that logic no video game in the history of video games should have any story of any shape or form since well....we can just make up one

I spent 7 years writing a whole story myself in Ultima Online

I have spent the last 20 years making storys for different characters in Dungeons and Dragons, your point?

This is how I play. I make my own story and skip all the bullcrap that SE has been spewing at me end of story for me. I will continue to play with my wife and we will have fun raiding and doing dungeons.
