Hopefully when Alexander comes. They typically will balance stuff in the patches like 3.05 or 3.1 for example. MCH is not really clunky in my opinion the class is very fluid and active it just has bad ratios. Buff gauss barrel and call it a day.

buffing gauss isn't gonna be enough a lot of people dislike how brd/mch play after getting the respected skill. for mch its a flat out dps lost if your aren't anchor to one spot an entire fight.
I don't mind it but if I wanted to cast I would of rolled smn/blm/sch/white/ast which since I have all upgraded law gear for mch I am now level my sch to 60 because leveling another dps through 50-60 would be hell with ques and fate grinding

MCH needs way more buffed then gauss barrel. With as much skill as it takes to play the class optimally it should be pulling almost as much dps as melee when played optimally.
The skill potencys need to be raised, MCH has the lowest potency rotation in the game and it is rng based.
Two major post 50 skills are completely worthless, 2 10 second 5 percent debuffs on a 90 second cooldown that share a recast timer, i dont know wtf SE was thinking with this.
Ammo cooldowns need to be reduced to 45 and 15 seconds
Gauss round needs to be 250-300 potency and have a slightly shorter recast maybe 15 seconds. Ricochet needs to be changed to 45 seconds and made 400 potency on a single target.
Hot shot is a joke, 5 percent damage increase is nothing. Make it 10 percent at least or add something else.
the single attack turret should be on auto follow, its a pain having to cast it every fight.

I don't mind gauss barrel but right now its a dps loss, prob need to change it to 30 percent increase to make it at least match losing the auto attacks
Agree with everything here other than turret following the player, the fact they don't follow you around like summoner pets is a good thing imo.
With the amount of effort a player needs to put into the mechanics of MCH to play optimally their dps should be giving other classes a run for their money if played well... Other jobs can offer more utility whilst being able to output competitive dps numbers... I fail to understand why this is all of a sudden not applicable when it comes to physical+ranged dps though. The argument "they are support" goes out the window when some jobs give utility/party buffs whilst being able to output crazy dps numbers.
MCH has so much more potential that unfortunatly it is not being realised at the moment.
Does not really matter if they like it or not, that seems to be the intended play style for the jobs at level 60.buffing gauss isn't gonna be enough a lot of people dislike how brd/mch play after getting the respected skill. for mch its a flat out dps lost if your aren't anchor to one spot an entire fight.

I couldn't disagree more. I have to spend most of my time staring at my skill bar to see if my basic shots proc or not rather than the actual fight. Add to that amazing underwhelming debuffs and utility and I am honestly curious what about the class at all you see as "fluid".
Once you get the class down and stop staring at your bars all the time you will see that the class is actually a very fluid and mobile class. The current optimal way to play the class is with rapid fire stance dancing every 90s. I cannot really say it has no utility because it has every from of CC in the game along with both forms of damage down. Most complaints I have seen from players are from non level 60 MCH. Once you get the class to 60 it opens up and its a completely different animal. The class requires skill to play and quite a bit of micro. A very busy class to play its not for those looking for a lazy class they can just afk on, and thats what a lot of people seem they wanted the class to be. I will agree it is probably the most complicated DPS in the game at the moment and needs more sustain DPS.I couldn't disagree more.
