I only use this skill when the boss cast all-map AoE, not to mitigate dmg or anything, but solely because it looks pretty :v. The other fellow healer can just throw in 1 aoe heal & the pt HP will be full in 1-2s.
Liked your idea. In my opinion, the spell should have a 30sec cooldown and should last for 30sec. It should end upon recast and the cooldown should begin after spell fades. So, if you want to be standing still like some sort of statue, at least you can do it with some benefit. And you can always stop the spell early so you do some other thing, the draw back is that you have to wait the whole CD for it to be used again.I feel like it'd give more of an AST feeling if it should rely on your timing! That means the shield should be available at all times and the effect is ongoing as long as you hold that spell button down. You cannot do anything else in the mean time anyway so it'll require precise timing of that defensive spell (even though that'd be fun to do, it'd break the spell but IMO, not doing anything while it's up, why not?)
(Probably they would reduce the regen potency with this, but it's OK for me...)
The spell reminds me of like a mini Restoration Druid "Tranquility" from WoW except it costs no mana is on a much shorter CD. If they added something like "Makes those inside immune to Knockbacks" It really wouldn't be as bad since not vulnerable to interupts, but also could be very overpowered. I don't mind not being able to move inside it, as it's a pretty strong CD, just compared to Asylum... it's bad. Extending the range could also help, as sometimes we have to stack on top of bosses in dungeons to make it worth using XD lmao
All in all I find the spell usable, but like most new DPS spells it's like it was designed to reward Astrologians who know the fight well and know when to use it, good for giving your MP a little break I suppose.
Tranquility was very powerful, thats why it worked. It is a channeled Asylum or Sacred soil.
Asylum and Sacred soil also have no mana cost.
C.U also has the disadvantage of being radial instead of having a marker on the ground.
The "flexibility" of AST is just not worth it. Diurnal stance is flat out better but still suffers for having NOCT as an alternative.

Not-Sacred soil is probably functional, boss jumps off screen or stops attacking to talk trash before a big attack. You shield up and then heal once it hits. Buuuut, it's still kinda a awful concept for a ability. It's a channeled ability you don't want to channel.
The regen I'm going to have to wait until I get the move and see. Might be something stacked with a.helios. Might not pack enough punch, might be really good.

Well for me i like the idea to be the shield but in Nocturnal stance should it more powerful maybe 15% dmg reduction.
For me its a highrisk/high reward spell.
And just saying nobody know how the endcontent will be there are only 2 Extreme trials released and well i had no problem to heal it or to use this Shieldbubble without sacrifice anything.
Nobody know what kind of mechanics a boss in Alexander-Normal or Alexander-Savage will have.
I only see a little problem in the RNG with the cards (those spire cards and double draw) also the lvl 60 spell is for me a littlebit underwhelmed.

The skill either needs to NOT be channeled, or the outputs buffed significantly. Presently it's just bad...
I like the concept of the skill and am perfectly fine with having to stand there channeling it (plus to me it looks badass!), however the regen/the shield need to be buffed considerably.
