It's true. You cannot propose a skill like that. Just 10 % reduction for being a scarecrow. I really liked the idea of a on/off button. That cool. I think right now in high end game content it's a useless skill

The skill either needs to NOT be channeled, or the outputs buffed significantly. Presently it's just bad...

It's so you can get a Sacred Soil buff for partywide damage (ex: primal phase changes) when you have WHM/AST in the party.

And then gimp yourself because you can't heal while you're doing it or cancel the effect meanwhile a scholar can just throw down sacred soil and cast succor/emergency tactics/do whatever they feel like while the 10% damage reduction is going on.
It's needlessly restricted for the sake of being restricted.

You drop it as soon as the Primal has used their big AoE damage, and then start healing. You'll be a second off with your healing compared to SCH/WHM; it's not a huge deal. And then gimp yourself because you can't heal while you're doing it or cancel the effect meanwhile a scholar can just throw down sacred soil and cast succor/emergency tactics/do whatever they feel like while the 10% damage reduction is going on.
