other classes will have the doubled level rate and for the record, quest exp was terribly slow this expansion. With that said, I am gonna stick with my MCH for now and trust se will fix it sooner than later. The only one they really lagged on was smn but their issues were a bigger picture that the expansion fixed in several ways so I can understand why it was delayed.
This! I was telling a FC member that this job has a lot of potential but right now it feels like they just idk rushed it through the door and omg the amount of useless abilities. I mean they're useful for soloing things and questing but a lot of our *utility* yeah most bosses are immune. I just feel like every other job can do what we can do but much better than we can. Like tbh the only reason I see anyone choosing to take a MCH to any type of progression is if they absolutely can't find someone else to fill it.The job feels very unfinished and in serious need of editing. There are way too many useless skills that's convoluting this class. SE, please look at MCH before Alexander and give it a buff so we can raid with this job until you get more of a chance to fix it properly.
Don't get me wrong I love playing the job but it definitely needs to be revisited and tweaked.
Yes, MCH needs some work for sure. I like how it plays and I like the amount of crowd control you can do, but cooldowns, potencies and procs need to be buffed to make it viable.
I'd specifically like to add that Reassemble has a 60s-cooldown while Life Surge which is actually a BETTER skill (since it also heals you for the amount it makes you crit) only has 50s. It's small things like that which make me frustrated with an otherwise pretty awesome job. There's also far too much time spent bashing Split Shot because nothing procs for four-five GCDs and all the fancy stuff is on cooldown. That's just bad design right there. I come from a job which ALWAYS has stuff to do (DRG) so when this happens I get quite bored with it. 'Tis a shame, because the opener of this job is epic and Rapid Fire is amazing but again needs a lower cooldown.
What botheres me the most right now is the randomness of the shots. You can force them with a cooldown, ok. But it seems I am not lucky enough with my procs, I have to use Split Shot 4-5 times in a row to get a proc. Just to get one Slug Shot that doesn't proc for Clean Shot and then back to 2-5 Split Shots again.
This class is sooo unreliable if you don't have Reassemble up. I do like my Machinist and Dark Knight very much but they need a little bit more balancing to compete with others. I don't see both of them doing anything that other classes can't do better.
