Yeah I can't read through this entire thread...it's complete and utter nonsense.
Look, people don't like change, and God forbid there is an MMO of a similar title that they are used to playing and it's not the same exact thing...actually it turned out to be pretty craptastic in many aspects.
I agree with many...the things that worked well in XI maybe should have been implemented...however, I am happy that this isn't an exact copy of XI. When I pick up a game...ANY game...weather it be an MMO or a console game...I expect there to be certian things borrowed from other games...but I don't expect the same thing over and over again.
Good example...I loved TES III. Awesome! However, I would have been thoroughly pissed if I played through TES IV only to find out my character was some born again god that needs to save the world from some crazed bad guy who has been reborn in the center of a mountian using Kagrenac's tools to destroy blah blah blah.....
I don't want to go through that crap again...great story....great game play...I don't need a reskinned version of it...and the same goes for XI to XIV.
I want a unique game, unique quests, unique stories and unique methods of going from point a to point b.
I don't like change myself...but it's inevitable and might as well deal with it.
XI had a great run, many years spent playing it and making friends and such...time for me to move on...so here I am...waiting for XIV to gets it's shit together...and I am enjoying watching it grow into it's own.
