    Any other tank getting tired of all skill speed

    I've been grinding away getting my law gear and I got to say. There is so much skillspeed on gear that helps us in pretty much no way at all to manage agro. It was fine while leveling and all but at 60 pretty much every peice of law gear is skill speed. Hardly any Crit or DET to help with the agro. My guess is they did this to make raid gear much more attractive as a whole unless the skill speed trend continue's.

    I will continue testing but skill speed is still just as much crap now as it was in 2.0. The increase to DOT damage is so minute that without 8000 skill speed you wouldn't even notice it. If it's % based that would make it even worse cause say 500 skill speed is 5% dot damage increase. 5% of 100 would make it tick for 5 more dmg each time. Complete waste of stats IMO. Now if someone has done some testing and can prove I'm full of crap then by all means please share but till further proven skill speed is still junk.

    I'm loving it as WAR. Thanks to Fell Cleave and Equilibrium we'll never have TP problems again, so I want more skillspeed for more Fell Cleaves/Inner Beasts.

    You do realize that it takes like 500 skill speed for 0.1s off the GCD? Maybe not quite that much but it is an extremely high amount for very very minimal gain. That part didn't change all that changed was added DOT damage into the mix.

    well, the devs in WoW said they pulled stuff like this because perfectly itemized pieces @ the start of an expansion kind of diminishes that feeling of progression that you get as you obtain better gear. perhaps SE has the same idea, feeding us badly itemized gear at the beginning and slowly turning it up over the course of the expansion.

    Managing aggro in Heavensward is whatever.
    I tanked Nappreap with full str accessories outside of a single vit ring simply because I didn't have a replacement at the time, while in DPS stance like I was running Copperbell mines.
    The current 60 dungeons don't require much of the tank at all, unless you want to make bigger pulls.

    Aggro isn't a problem, survivalbility isn't even a problem unless you are in Alexander or Extreme primals (since I haven't done them, can't say how they are). The only deal is yeah Skill Speed hasn't shown itself to be strong so it's not desirable to my current knowledge atm.

    Equilibrium restores 200 tp so as a WAR I can finally keep fracture up more often outside of Berserk rotations. DRK's don't have this luxury as they can burn through tp just as fast as PLD's during long fights and have no tp recovery. Plus I think the more ppl play DRK, I'm lvl 58 atm the more use I see in Parry as I can get off tons of Low Blows. It's basically a bloodletter for tanks.

    But all Warriors should have 390 minimum for that 9 gcd Berserk.

    The number now differs at level 60. There are threads about stat equivelancies, but the 390 was correct for level 50--the new number is closer to 460 or so supposedly for level 60. Defense, Det, Crit, Skill Speed, etc all give benefits based off the amount and your level.

    Also recovering tp is easy as a paladin now--pause ever once and a while to cast a heal on a party member in need--you will naturally recover tp in the time period and be incredibly useful to the group--you regain mana as part of both your new MT and OT rotations, so you can do this really often.

    I find this to be bs because if it is true that the new number is no longer 390 sks at lvl 60 then all SE did was inflate the numbers. I was hoping to reach 10 gcds in Berserk in HW but it's starting to look like an inflated ARR, and its very apparent with the ilvls as its basically the same progression as before but +100. I guess we will never reach that 10 gcd in Berserk.
