    Look over this small sampling of people who have posted in this thred: how many of them have had friends who quit the game due to not being able to stand how boring it was? How many admit to nearly quitting THEMSELVES?

    The real irony here is that FFXIV isn't even a particularly hard MMO. It just has a long, boring story grind at 50 that makes players assume the rest of the game is going to be just as bland and boring (and it really isn't).
