i dont want to sound like a jerk buuuuut your tanking with a PLD yet your saying your not falling asleep ?I leveled my first class as a PLD, I tanked in WoW/healed in WoW and I tanked in DAoC. There is a reason why I'm still a tank now, one. I DON'T FALL ALSEEP WHILE PLAYING. two, I can't have a reason to alt-tab afk while waiting for the next pull cause I control the pace of the run and final, three. I DON'T FALL ASLEEP WHILE PLAYING.
Seriously, I can not stress that enough with the whole sleeping part. I don't know why but when I play DPS in this game, I start to fall asleep.
PLD in this game is the most boring and lame tanking class i ever played in any other MMO...
I came from WoW where tanking was even MORE boring, throw shield, press aoe, crusader strike and use WoG. The only thing that wouldn't get too boring was me running and jumping around.
When you see someones glamour with non matching boots
I'm a converted DRG. I love how the job plays so far. OK I haven't got to the meat yet, I've only scratched the surface. But I see it as a challenge and I am enjoying it every step of the way. I played Marauder a little for DRG and tanked a little in WoW.
I had teething problems in the class introduction: "Here's 13 abilites, I won't explain any of them, but let's go kill stuff! I'll heal!", followed by leveling GLA for provoke, but now I'm chain-pulling in dungeons.
I've self-taught myself to check my healer's MP, to constantly check enmity on other targets, to stun enemies before running off to the next trash pack, to wait for lagging dps at bosses.
Even so, I foresee Brayflox being a challenge. And I look forward to it.
