The DPS bandwagon drops off and stays away from DRK / tanking in general?

Yes I will acknowledge those who have a legitimate interest in tanking even though they never did it before. (I fully support and hope you enjoy it but please do take it seriously.)
Yes I will acknowledge those who have mained War / PLD.

No I will not acknowledge those who decided to try playing DRK without ever touching war / PLD and only decided too "Because it looked cool." (Yes I have been given that response when asking "Have you tanked before?"

So again..how much longer till they leave the job? (Yes I know this is kind of a rant but seeing so many people just be bad at DRK and seeing that they haven't even gotten glad / mar past 15...it's just ugh.)

It won't. In about a week they'll go back to their mains sure, but there will be a massive resurgence soon after because people will use it for Hunts and premades with friends.

You think it's bad now? Wait till 3.1 when the relic comes out.

The non-tanking interested people who started during early access will drop off after about a week, but then you have the people coming for official release. So at least another week or two I would imagine.

People are already dropping the DRK cause how much of a pain it is to tank, the dungeon ques are back to instant and the random routtee is back to tank. I'm not surprised.

You are spending most of your time looking at your mana bar instead of worrying about tanking and where you are standing. I'm still going with mine but sometimes when I tank on my warrior or paladin, its a fresh of breath air.

This is why my mana bar is on the ground...so I can look at the ground aoe's while I panic over missing mana.

I think once people realize that Drk's are the hardest tank to play (currently), that they'll be dropping off like flies. Woe betide us should they receive......dps boosts.

Had this conversation yesterday with my FC, i get people want to try the new jobs but im tired of being with terrible DRK because they have no idea how to tank.. But it sounds cool! Ive swapped my main from war to drg and using drk as tank now. I am enjoying it alot and been told "i can tell you have tanked alot".. its easy to see who has nevet tanked more than 30 mins and someone who has tanked up to end game

One more week i expect before the non tanks find it too hard and too much responsibility.

I came from WoW where tanking was even MORE boring, throw shield, press aoe, crusader strike and use WoG. The only thing that wouldn't get too boring was me running and jumping around.

Its pretty sweet atm with new skills tho i would love to see un-interruptable Clemency so you could reliably use it even when MT:ing.
