Character Creation

I'm sure I'm beating a dead horse here, but I'm still baffled by Squeenix not allowing new characters on servers where you already play. New people to the server I understand, but when I have 5 characters there already, guess what? New character or not, I'll still be logging into that server, I 'll just be a little more ticked off at Squeenix and less likely to buy another game from them. And no, I'm not paying for a server change for myself and everyone in our guild, nor do I intend to start a character on a server where my guild isn't. I'll probably get flamed for posting criticism, but has Squeenix ever explained why we cant's make alts on a server we already play on?

I'm pretty sure SE will say that playing on XX server is functionally available to you.

The luxury of making a 6th alt on that server, however, may not be.

Why people want 6 alts on a char-locked server is beyond me. I guess they want to experience the MSQ 7 times and then fuss about needing to do it all for Ishgard access.

Not a dig at you, more at altaholics in a game designed to give us everything on one char.

Only reason i want more characters on the same server is to use them as free retainers.

The only alt I have is my girlfriends account she rarely uses. I prefer 1 account so I can mold the ultimate adventurer.
I get irritated sometimes when people create Alts because "They thought of a good roleplaying character"

In my mind it is boring to have 1 super character who can do anything. I don't RP at all, but even in Skyrim i had characters for every guild and area to explore.
