Yeah I got it to 60 and it's hella bad, it's slow/boring and when all the buff's are down a WHMs stone 3 can do the same DPS lol.

Can people just try and adapt to the playstyle before claiming it's broken? It's an xpac; the playstyles are supposed to change. If they didn't then what's the point?
If you try it out for a while and still hate it then I'll be more understanding. But the amount of "So I've been 60 for 5 minutes and the class is unplayable and destroyed because I can't maintain 100% dps while jumping in figure8's like a crackhead anymore" is getting out of hand.
E: not trying to be facetious. I don't play brd often, so I'll cede to brd majority opinion if this is how it continues to play out. But please let's have it be an informed opinion instead of a kneejerk one.

When in doubt, assume sarcasm
A lot of players have been worried about this since it was first announced, but waited to see how it was implemented before crying foul. The biggest problem isn't even the movement (though that is a very jarring change), but that bard was originally built with instant casts in mind, and the bard playstyle reflects that. Black Mage has one off gcd buff that they have to manage between casts and an occasional proc, bard has 6 buffs, along with several other off gcd attacks that are meant to be weaved in between on gcd abilties one of which can also proc to reset it's cd. Adding cast bars makes that process extremely...clunky for lack of a better word. Things don't flow well, it almost feels like they tried to take two different gameplay styles and mash them into one =p.Can people just try and adapt to the playstyle before claiming it's broken? If SE really wanted to encourage bards to stand still they should have just had WM add a stacking buff to all damage the longer you stood in place. Good bards would still need to stand around to be higher on the charts, but it wouldn't break the synergy between the moves in the class itself.
Am I a butterfly dreaming I'm a man... Or a bowling ball dreaming I'm a plate of sashimi?
How often must it be said, don't completely change a class's play style, we chose our class for mobility, if we wanted to cast, we'd play a black mage. Can people just try and adapt to the playstyle before claiming it's broken? This ability shouldn't exist in it's current form.
That's right I picked bard because of it's play style, now it's the Bow wizard and I hate it.

But all endgame bards I ever saw, stood still most of the time anyway. The needless, superfluous movements some bards make, simply don't need to happen. You don't have to be able to run around at all times, the game doesn't require it and SE knows this. Furthermore, most bards have complained about a loss of dps over other jobs for some time, SE gave them the option to have similiar dps to other jobs and the result is more complaints it would appear.
It will be interesting if SE does anything with WM.
Then you clearly didn't pay attention. But all endgame bards I ever saw, stood still most of the time anyway. The needless, superfluous movements some bards make, simply don't need to happen. And what's this about an option? Unless I've gone back to WoW where you have talent choices that give the option you speak of simply isn't there, WM blocks you from using most of the new abilities, the class wasn't designed with cast times in mind and they made no effort into changing that as well, they just added a skill that Machinist just happened to get.
But they didn't give us the option to have similar DPS. They gave us an ability that is EXTREMELY situational (opener and when HE+B4B+Barrage are up), and if kept up is an overall DPS loss.
It seems to be a second Bloodletter/Rain of Death queuing, locking out all other abilities until a DoT crit ticks and it finally goes off. At least in my case.
I'll have to stop you right there. So you claimed that you witnessed ALL endgame bards in action? and all they did was stood there like a dummy? But all endgame bards I ever saw, stood still most of the time anyway. Do you by chance main a bard enough to call our movement superfluous?
I find it amusing in every thread, there are always these players who doesn't main a bard coming in and tell us "your class is alright, you just do not know how to play it, lol lel rofl". No offence but I really find it amusing because it's like a boy telling a girl "hey, I know how it feels to have pms but deal with it".
