Ok, perhaps wrong is not the right wording. Basicially, I feel that your post gives off the incorrect implication that the synth is harder and more tedious than it actually is in actual practice.

Ah, no harm done. I was just surprised is all. lol :3 I've never played a game before this one that uses so many items, so for me it was something different. I wasn't implying that it was really hard or anything. Just takes more time than most games if someone were to go about collecting the basic materials from scratch (I include crystals and shards - I mean, I get most of mine off monsters at the moment). And of course I know most people probably wouldn't collect all the items themselves. But considering the thought I was like, "whoa, that's a bit of work."
In any game I've loved collecting my items from monsters and gathering and such, so I look forward to the changes because it would be a bit less work for me. I understand other people are upset about the changes though, for their own reasons.
I won't argue with anyone about that - it's not my place to argue opinion. lol :x For people who don't collect every item as I do, the crafting changes are probably a bigger shock.

For all of us I only hope SE finds some challenge to add to it again. So the majority will be happy.

Edit: And of course there's always the chance that SE will change their minds about going through with this if enough people hate the change. What the majority wants is most important.
I won't mind either way. This change would be better for me than the current system I think, but I won't make a fuss if it stays the same or similar to now. XD
