"by airship" i didn't say it wasn't possible at all but by airship it is lockedYes you can actually. You can travel from La Noscea to Thanalan by taking the boat (by sea), then Thanalan to Shroud by walking. Funny that lol. (I return aggressive sarcasm)
EDIT: Okay, I'll take this a bit further. You can travel from Shroud to Coerthas also by foot, then go to Mor Dhona from there with nothing to stop you, assuming you stay away from harms way... but you can easily do that by following the roads.
Lo an' behold. All major areas are available to the player if he so desires to go.
I won't be! ^^; I finished the 2.1 quests and so my early access will be doing the rest. After hearing about exp and armor gains I figured it would be better to be patient and wait. I don't need the gear on my BLM but if it's like previous quests I can grab 50 gear for a healing class. Yay~
I will however at least change to Au Ra as soon as I log in.
Well, congratulations on keeping up with the Main Stories.
Others will most likely rush the story, skip everything and be a bit more impatient if they want to get their money's worth in the expansion.
As for me, I will drown my sorrows and lost hype by logging off from the game and doing something else for the time being. -_-
want this to be done tomorrow .I really care less about the quality of the game
So take a week or two playing a couple of hours a day and then get HW. Dude, are you seriously only at Garuda considering how long you've been registered...Hmm the Holy See should have included that clause...
What reason should I buy Heavensward right now if I haven't finished MSQ yet? If nothing... then I'll just bite it and move on then.
Yes, I can speed through it over the weekend. No, I don't want to speed through it over the weekend and I have other stuff to do.
I guess you have no desire to meet our friends, Gaius, Livia, Nero, and Rhitatyn, and their pet the Ultimate Weapon... or Leviathan, Shiva, Ramuh, Fenrir, the Tonberry people, or the cool residents in the Crystal Tower, nevermind Midgardsomr the guardian of Silvertear Lake who saved Eorzea once from the Imperials! And let us not forget Midgardsormr's son Vishap...oh and the Ascians.
Your loss
moneys worth? the expansion will be around for two years......the story takes less then a week, wtf you worrying about?Well, congratulations on keeping up with the Main Stories.

Suddenly this ticked me off. You really insulted someone you do not know?So take a week or two playing a couple of hours a day and then get HW. Dude, are you seriously only at Garuda considering how long you've been registered...

Your loss (for being lazy) <- you seemed to have removed this part
And how long did you suppose I have been subscribed to this game? Unfortunately, I do something else IRL and in terms of leisure this is not the only game I play. At the span of 2 years ARR has been out I am only subscribed for 4 months. But I make the most out of those times and fortunately, I did mostly nothing but speed through the storyline this past month, but I also do not neglect my crafting and gathering classes. Additionally, in game I also do something else besides story, since this game has much more to offer. Oh isn't that great do to be able to do a multitude of other things in one game?
Me? I worry no more, as you have read.
But just to answer that, the story takes less than a week *if* I rush through it. For someone like me, it more realistically takes about a month or two. That's a month or two of not being able to touch the expansion if I bought it now due to extreme hype. But if I haven't bought the expansion now, I could just take my time and buy it when I need it.
