We've already seen the personal airships. A dev blog post showed them off weeks ago. They are mounts, nothing more. They have nothing at all to do with FC crafting in the workshop.

I saw the picture of them a while back and I know they are mounts but have the devs actually said they do not need to be crafted and more importantly that such crafting did not require the house facilities etc or is everyone just assuming they wont require such? I just want clarification as in a known fact about it given by the devs which I might have missed rather than just assumptions alone.

If they gated any single-player content behind FC crafting these forums would explode and they know it. Given that most FCs can't even get a house to craft anything only a tiny tiny minority will have access to FC crafting. I don't think SE is stupid enough to put anything like personal mounts behind that barrier, and even if they did the rage on these forums would force them to change it pretty quickly.
