Need Clarification for the Steam Players...

I own both the standalone game and the Steam version. I picked up the Steam version when it was on sale for like $12 and that is where I now run the game from.

Under this circumstance (where I already had a standalone account and didn't have to register anything from steam as all it does is bring up the launcher) I should be able to use a physical CE of Heavensward.. yes?

If you didn't use the registration key from purchasing the game on steam at all, and you're literally just using steam to launch the launcher as you say, then yes, you should be fine with the physical CE of Heavensward/any form of the expansion for the standard PC platform.
