this isnt' the first time they've done away with tomes, there's a new kind every 6 months and the lowest value one disappears. Its really nothing new.

The part that's new is that they're removing the lower value tomes from everyone but only allowing the newer replacement for certain players and not others. (Tomestones of Law come from the Heavensward expansion.) Given that there's an expansion involved this time, I was expecting (and hoping) that they'd keep Soldiery and Poetics unchanged but limited to the ARR regions, while Law and Esoterics were for the HW regions.
