I wonder if that implies a higher MP cost, then.

Player : フェアリーのミラプリも作ってるんですか?
(Any plan on Fairies glamour?)
Yoshi'p Sampo: フェアリーはエギではないので、予定がないです。残念ながら。
(Since Fairies aren't Egi so, No.)
judging from the skill names im going to assume their basic abilities give them the choice to ignore the stance they've chosen or use the stance more intuitively since there "Cure 3" "medica 2" "adlo" etc can be chosen to be casted isntead of being forced to cast said attribute.
I wouldn't go to crazy about collective unconscious. It's not gonna work for all buffs, and probably only applies to cards. Otherwise, you could end up with nuts situations like multiple people getting hallowed ground or weird stuff like wrath being spread around.
And I don't want my post to be interpreted like I'm intimidated by the skillset, although it could break a few things if stuff is too close in potency. I expect the Astrologian to be the Ultimate Wingman, being able to boost healer's strengths or shore up weaknesses depending on how fights go, while proving great utility to the party.
seems like royal road bole is pretty awful... 5% damage reduction is pretty pitiful compared to the other buffs
It'll probably be buffed later down the line. Making it too strong at the start could cause ppl to ignore other tools to try and favor one of them.
As absurd and illogical as it seems I've seen it happen pretty irregularly.
royal road is a total gamble on what you get from it so they should all be strong since it will never be a reliable tool.
there is the bubble that works like a sacred soil in nocturnal stance though as well.
As to an earlier comment i'm thinking the "Aspected XXX" stuff is actually traits that turn on aspected bonuses
Seems like too many skills otherwise and the list does have each individual card listed as skills as well
The stances do have other bonuses than the skill changes so it does make some sense that they would lay it out that way
I am not sure about that. Remember that both SCH and WHM are getting awesome new skills as well - Fey Illumination + Dissipation + Crit Adlo + Deployment Tactics (and maybe Sacred Soil and Virus) will be the most op mitigation skill combo ever, for one. It's got Cure 2, Medica, Medica2/Succor, Asylum/Sacred soil, and a buff every 30 seconds and you call that bare bones? I mean I know the power of those things is what makes them work(Scholar and White Mage will have better versions of all that stuff), but that's a ton of particular tools that it's got on it.
AST will basically have what WHM and SCH have now (with the exception of Asylum), at a reduced potency (most likely). The main feature are the cards, which are very random thus might not be suited for scripted fights, at least if you are pushing for progression.
I am just saying that, in general, jobs with "random" elements are at a disadvantage, in this game - unless Alexander mechanics will differ greatly from Coil ones.

Aspected Benefic and Aspected Helios are the single-target and AOE heal that are affected by Diurnal Sect and Nocturnal Sect, respectively. Aspected Benefic will be a single-target heal with a regen or shield effect, and Aspected Helios will be the AOE equivalent of the same.
