I was really heavy on finishing T13 before HW, but then i realized...why do i even care? Dreadwyrm will be obsolete the moment i step into Ishgard and see "Lv52" requirement gear.

There's no real reason for someone who isn't level 50 to purchase heavensward, and there is zeerooo reason to believe SE will ever allow you to "buy" level 50. This game takes its story pretty seriously.
