I am infuriated and in tears, about to quit again

I have returned from over a year long hiatus and I am trying to bum rush decent gear for my characters. One of them will be a machinist.

So I have been mercilessly farming WOD trying to get gear.

However I just had a match where I solo healed through most of the dungeon and then someone joined when the boss was at 10% health and they greed rolled me for it and they got it over me. The chest piece I've been farming nonstop for.

They didn't even put ina single heal.

I am so frustrated, if it was someone that contributed or even killed the trash mobs I'd be oaky but this... I am just so fucking sad about it.

Idk what to do. I want to get good gear for my machinist.

To top it off and ass insult to injury he also rolled for another main piece after the final boss. Yes really.

I don't care about RNG, I grinded ATMA fates when it was just released and so don't tell me I don't know RNG or grinding.

My issue is the fact that someone who did NOTHING AT ALL WHATSOEVER to help defeat a boss stole from the entire group a very very precious item. That is not acceptable. 23 other people worked to achieve something and someone waltzes in at the very end and runs off with the reward.

There should be a solid mechanic hard coded into the game that prevents such horrific abuse/problems. Because this is a problem, despite the many incredibly toxic posts (Came from League of legends?) personally attacking my person.

It isn't fair or right that someone who did nothing to help gets to walk away with the valuable loot obtained from the hard work of 23 other people. It isn't fair and it isn't right and no amount of insults you hurl at me will make it right. We don't work for free where I live.

Don't mean to scare you away but from what I gather it just tough luck. No offense I been there myself. Don't really matter how much effort you put into this game it's all down to rng and luck. Trust me I am not making this up. It has been said time and time again on the forum so I guess it must be true.

Yeah I haven't done anything in the game since it came out, but I want good stuff now before the expansion (within in the next 20 minutes cause I need now), or I am going to quit.
All those people who spent months farming things are losers anyway.

You should really take a breather again or begin to use Poetic's for the MCH and save until then.

You won't be able to use existing WoD gear on a Machinist anyway unless SE decides that they will share gear with a current job, because all DPS WoD gear (with the exception of casting stuff) is job-specific.

Get over it. I've lost rolls for things I wanted too, a lot. It happens. And you're "in tears" over something you couldn't even roll need on (since you yourself said they greed rolled and won)? Sorry, but they did nothing wrong. If they didn't do any boot-worthy offenses and weren't just a terrible player of their class, can't see any issue with them rolling on something after the final boss, either. What to do is run as the class you want gear for the most, first off. Secondly, run with friends, FC mates, or PF a party composition that'd most easily get you the loot you want.

I'm sorry but I don't and will not understand your pain in this you joined DF as a healer there for you can need on healing gear if you wanted bard gear that much you should have joined as a hard I'm sorry it's harsh but it's the truth is it unfair he looted on it even though he just joined no it is not because if you just joined a in progress run you would be looting on it too because you want it.

I do feel sympathy for you for trying to get gear while dealing with rng and other people but for others looting in DF no I do not.

I mean for crying out loud IV seen the tank pants drop what once the whole time IV ever done wod and this was while lock out was still in place IV never seen the hands drop once if I see them im sure as heck am gona need em and if others complain about it because I have better gear well qu as a tank man.

Why were you greed rolling on something you desperately want anyway? If you ran as a class that could have needed on that gear, you wouldn't have had any problem. WoD DPS queue is really not bad enough to refuse to DPS it when you want DPS gear.

It is lame when people roll on stuff after fights they did not contribute to, but you had to be aware of the possibly that anyone in the party could have out greeded you at any time...
