I dont care either way with topics like these. This topic can be answered 3 words as to why 51 pages was unnecessary, and why your female armor will have these slight differences however.


Japan doesn't care.


And they shouldn't ever care about outsider opinions.

FFXIV's rerelease as A Real Reborn says otherwise. They had to listen to outsiders (westerners) because most XIV players were on PC. There are many reports that state that Japanese gamers play mostly on consoles. Western audiences were/are the majority of their player base.

A Warrior should look like a Warrior and a Paladin as a Paladin, etc. For the most part this game does well enough on that. However, AF should not omit parts of itself regardless of gender.

The changes to Dragoons artifact gear are laughable at best. The defense of it is just silly.
Flexibility and bone structure are just odd reasonings for it when male and female characters alike use the same exact animations.
