I have the non secular world view that says it's okay. There is NOTHING in the Bible that says that gender roles, including modes of dress...

My comments were never meant to derail the topic. This is why I'm not going to continue to debate the subject though I could easily with the responses I've seen thus far.. I don't say that to be smug It's just that I don't see anything more than surface level arguments/assertions. I simply wanted to state (as others have) that I would not like to see this happen, my reasons why and the action I'll be forced to take if it continues to go down this road. Though as someone pointed out I am perfectly fine with male characters getting more gender specific clothes that aren't available to female characters. It's the overly provocative cross-dressing that.. crosses the line. As for statement about holding a non-secular position and the Bible doesn't say anything about gender roles and dress... Unfortunately you are wrong. The SPRING SKIRT was originally release and is still female only. It has a cute bow at the top. They later released the PLAIN LONG SKIRT, essentially the same design, no bow and a different angle to the draping of the cloth, and THAT is unisex.

Perhaps for a future post I will actually find and list all the Female exclusive and equivalent Male items and note where those items become unisex.

This list has 102 (confirmed) female gender-locked Gears and their male equivalents. Of these gears, males have NO equivalent for 7 pieces (Spring Straw Hat, Bunny Ears, Bunny Chief Ears, Bunny Chief Bustier, Bunny Chief Tights, Bunny Chief Loops, Bunny Chief Pumps) and females have no equivalent for 1 (Riviera Slops - but the female equivalent body IS a "full-body piece" in that it covers top and bottom but no takes both slots). Females have 21 more gears than males, and this is only because of the Riviera Slops, otherwise it would be 22.

I know it's quite odd to say; however, I'm starting to get the feeling that this "cross dressing" conversations are not because the outfit is naturally seen as female clothing, but because Square said it was for females which warped out perspective on the outfit itself. There are plenty of attire that has been shown on this thread being similar to the dancer outfit, but more modified to fit the beauty of male sexuality without destroying their masculinity. It's like saying the color blue is for boys; hence, being influenced by societies or the higher ups (being Square) we have some to believe these are actually reality. Despite a colour is nothing more then we can visual see, and doesn't have a label on it saying, "You are now seeing pink, and this is a color for girls. More information on other colors will soon be added to your sight. Please look forward to it!"

Except the whole bunny set has no equivalent. The two sets were never considered equals as even when they were first announced it was pointed out by many that the gambler set was based off of an iconic ff character where the bunny suit was generic and only very peripherally related in theme. Sets where there is unisex(previously male exclusive) and female exclusive should not be considered as being equal as females get two sets and males get one. While these were usually at one time a good example of 'different but equal' SE decided to change the restrictions on half of each group and left the other (same with each: female) restricted.
