allow us to glamour 1 handed weapons onto 2 handed ones!

The glamour system is basically an overlay of the regular gear system. They'll let us glamour 1 handed weapons (which only TWO classes in the entire game have this as an issue for, and even then it's only older equipment that's either pre-50 or grandfathered from 1.0, or both) at the same time they let us glamour multi slot items over single slot items and items locked to specific classes onto classes that can't wear it.

Doesn't explain how you can glamour one-slot gear (chest/legs) onto multiple-slot gear (cowls, tincans etc). The weapons would just utilize the same mechanic.

And I'd hardly say the i95 weapons are pre-50... and while they're based on earlier weapons, the Levi wand and the Moogle wand are surely not grandfathered from 1.x -- Levi and Moggle Mog weren't available to fight back then, were they? *never played 1.x, so doesn't know*

Moggle Mog was the second primal fight released during the 1.0 series. The fight was absent at launch because SE had to give us a lore reason to fight him again which didn't happen until 2.1.

they are basically already phased out, they have not introduced a new 1 handed caster wep since levi. but it doesn't seem all that difficult to make it so you can glamour them on to a 2 handed one X_X i like how small they are compared to the full size staffs.

It'll probably get the PLD/GLA treatment in regards to daggers.
Like the daggers went to ROG/NIN, they'll probably leave it to some other class.

I don't think it'll be bad option to glamor, but weapon types are the Job signature more than anything else.
If their image of WHM and BLM is with a big 2H staff, it's possible they want to do a glamor option just to replace it later.

The way the game is, I think Jobs/Classes with 2 weapon types are just holdovers till another class can take it from them.
Just because the weapon defines the class.
It doesn't really bother me either way, and I think it'll be fine for players to glamor them even if they move them to another class later.

I'm sure there is some technical reason why this hasn't been done yet, but that being said with all of the quality of life stuff we'll surely be getting in coming patches a lot of us would be over joyed if the devs could find a work around for this. There are so many cool 1 handed wand models that we just never get to see.

I would love this, and to get more 1h weapons eventually ; ; It'd be great if you could have alternate weapons with more classes, though I know it probably won't ever happen again. It's just nice to have options!
