Shortage of tanks a myth - thoughts?

PLD is my main, but I avoid DF because of situations like this one:


I did try to queue as DPS (because I need light for my DRG) but the queue was insane, so I changed my mind and just went with my main. At first boss of KotL, I decided to roll a smoke (30 seconds or even less) which equals to the time to go to bio for some and this DPS starts insulting (in the img red = mean DRG DPS, green = healer). He afked the 1st boss fight and the rest of the dungeon while throwing insults from time to time, then we kicked him right before the last boss fight.

That kid was an idiot, but I'm not seeing anything unique to tanks here. I see these morons all the time (especially when they're bad players themselves, demanding to be kicked in similar situations).

I've seen a lot of these "oh boo hoo, us poor tanks" posts lately and I call BS on it. I never see tanks get any treatment ingame except people brainlessly throwing commendations at them regardless of how well or poorly they did and tanks themselves treating the entire game like their personal speedrun factory and whining if anyone doesn't like it.

Whether you see it or not, it's there. Your opinion does not invalidate the actual experience that peple have shared. Honestly, you sre saying the equivalent of "fire? What fire?" all while the building around you is reduced to smoldering rubble by a huge blaze.
