As a aside to this, I didn't wanna create a new thread btw.. But why does the new jobs use cross class skills. Didn't Yoshi say in a interview they were ditching the cross-class model. And that the class's would automatically get the skills they need?

T5, 9, 13 Levia, Shiva and Ramuh EX are required for 2.5 ? Or you misread what I meant.

Well they made HA, magiteck and primals weapons at least ( and surely Primal focus, Gerolt, Allagan and dreadwyrm weapons ) a relic wouldn't be a lot more.

One of the reasons they did this is to encourage people running that content, since it is needed for MSQ.

You don't need a class to unlock them. Yoshida never said they don't get cross-class skills.

Maybe because the new relics will use a similar step to the old ones, which is why they are going to make use of the current ones for the people who have completed them? Just guessing.

Also, why make a relic at 50, when it will be completely outdated and bypassed as soon as you hit 60. Which, going through the relic quest, would probably put you from 50-60...

I believe they've already confirmed that there will not be level 50 relic weapons for the new jobs.

There will be the new Heavensward relic weapons for those jobs, however.
