For Lorewise, they could easily do something like.


Moogles were born of the forest.

Garleans intrigued by their magic abilities captured them and performed experiments on them, cross breeding them to create a new race they simply call Mogs.

Mogs have highly Technological Ability but also have Geomancy powers that they can share with people.

Result?> Storyline Introduction of Moogle Based Race (Based off of the FFT appearance) Engineering(Crafting) and Archanist(Class)/Geomancer(Job) character choices.

Perfect. I love you. This settles both moogle lore and sub-race issues. +1000 for hi-tech lore and class implementation. This game needs more FF6-inspired tech. Mog race FTW. I'm seriously feelin' a Mog race petition thread coming here... Who's with me?!

the 1st game i played with the viera race was in ff-12 and thye lived in the forest surrounded by mist... on the big map east of grid the have a town icon on the map even far west under the dragon flying you have a town icon.. thye could easily work in the viera race in 1 of those two places.nvm the town far east is the highlander town where most of highlanders died. do they even give info on the town to the far west though..

kind of off topic but maybe the whole "empires" land will have different races since we are not shown their homeland, maybe new beastly mobs to kill, new battle classes from there and maybe some very nice raids like sneek into the main city for something intense. Either way i say bring the fight to the empire and stop playing chicken ppl of eorzea

thats why my suggestion included genetic engineering. They could be engineered and lets say, Cross bred with Lalafell the resulting new race of Mogs could look like the Moogles from FFXII/T/TA

I think Bangaa/a lizard like race could be a good candidate for emerging from the southern wastes ;v
That or maybe a lizard race coming from some type of Marsh area, kind of like Argonians.

Not to mention 60% of Hyurs already look like Bieber.

60% boyish, 40% manly, I don't see how thats too unbalanced considering this is in fact a japanese mmo.
