I beg to differ. GMs are just like police officers. They hold a great deal of power over the average citizen, but they too are human, and as such prone to error. This is the reason that in real life police officers don't directly judge the suspect and give them their final prison sentence. That is, (at least in theory), left to an impartial third party to decide. In this particular instance for example, it could simply be that the GM selected the wrong character to issue the warning to. Without actually reviewing the evidence, it's impossible to judge whether the person in question was deserving of the sentence. Even if the "sentence" in this case is something as minor as a warning, it's still the principle of the matter.....
