  We are discussing being able to change your race one time only, coinciding with the implementation of new races for the PS3 launch.

I personally would not be in favor of an anytime race change service, unless it were accompanied by time restrictions and cost real money. It's one thing to change your character's hair; race is something you're born with and shouldn't just be something some NPC can adjust.



As for the actual topic of this thread, I would greatly prefer the developers added something new just for Eorzea instead of everyone's stupid viera suggestions. Qiqirn is a good one, as well as bringing in FF-style dwarves (think IV and IX here) since they're nothing like typical fantasy dwarves. Or just something completely new would be nice, like when XI started galka and tarutaru were pretty damned unique. I'd like to see something as new and unique for XIV rather than something that belongs to another game world.
