No. If the PL is blacklisted either by yourself, or if they have you blacklisted, the party is "greayed out" in that you can see it, but do not have the option to click on it. Also, I was able to send tells to the party leader.

As for the Chocobo possibility mentioned, that also wasn't the case, as other people were able to join.

That message only happens at 7/8 and the last spot fills as you're trying to join (Basically, someone beats you to filling the last spot.) I know there's a seperate message if, say, they a re looking for Heals+DPS, and a Healer joins, and you try to join as a healer. Might be what you're hitting?

Another, seperate cause of it is sometimes the PT may have a chocobo summoned filling the last spot. This can prevent people from joining (And likewise, the leader will be pinged telling them to dismiss chocobo iirc.)

This is what I thought, because I know that's happened before and was the case. The weird part is that it happened for a solid 5-10 minutes and the group eventually filled.

If I'm blacklisted, wouldn't I be unable to exchange /tells with the person? I was able to send them tells.

Could it be a healer space you are trying to join as a WHM and they want a SCH and you just didn't notice.
