Ok first of all I never complain that I couldnt level fast enough. I am one of the few people who think crafting levels at a good pace as it is. But most of the people who dont like crafting dont like it because its slow and boring. Removing al the easy grind Recipes by removing parts is going to make it harder and it will push more people away from crafting. That being said what I am trying to point out and I'll bold it for you this time People don't like the crafting system because its repetitive and boring. none of these changes are going to fix that. Yay no more parts! Oh wait you STILL have to collect materials to make things. Removing part with only serve to reduce the number of recipes people can use to SP. If they want to "Fix" crafting they HAVE to build a new UI. There is no way around it.
