DPS is too slow guys! (OMG!!!)

Just my two cents from my experience today.

I qued for the Ultros fight. It was my first time as I'm just now catching up on the Hildy quests. Before I could type anything one of the tanks spat out "Which dps is new." I explained that I was but I had looked over a guide.

Part of the way through the fight one of the healers throws out this piece of gold "Lol noob you didn't read a guide"

Now maybe its me but reading doesn't mean I'm going to get it right the first try. Nor was I the only one being knocked out of the arena. There were no wipes, no deaths, no close calls. Until that point I'd thought it was an extremely smooth run. The only issue seemed to be that I was on SMN and new.

Same thing happened to me on my first Levi EX attempt. Read a guide, watched another guide, was prepared as I could be (as usual) given that I had no experience. Died a few times, so did all the other dps except one (even though they weren't new, or didn't say they were). Who got fussed at? Me of course!

Then a couple of attempts later, I wasn't even getting hit by anything at all.

Some people don't get that experience =/= being informed. And some don't seem to get that new people may very well become experts if given a chance.

This is why the community is so bad. Intolerable and antisocial people who don't realize not being a jerk to the people in their group would actually help them clear content. Have your party fight the enemies rather than each other, eh?

You shouldn't have to deal with things like that tbh, I noticed you are on the same server as me and you have no Free Company, I would recommend looking up my FC The GDT Reaper's we have a lovely bunch that are usually able to help out with lower content myself included, as you know its the pre exp lul and not many people are about but I'm sure if you get in touch we can organise something.
