I wouldn't stress getting story progression dungeons/trials at a later state. As with previous story requirements they will most likely add incentives for high levels to help out.

I come from a long history of online games that don't give two shits about "old" content, so excuse me for being a little skeptical of that.

I've played almost every MMO on the market. Granted, none of them was FFXI, so no experience with SE, but everyone else.... ugh.

I understand that it may be tedious to grind through 1yr plus of content in order to access the areas in the upcoming expansion. Unfortunatly for newer ppp, the game has been out a while and all this content was spread out in that time frame. As far as complaining about it, the Expansion, is just that, an expansion. Heavansward begins following the events that ended in 2.0

Being forced to do mainstory? Heavens forbid! a company forces me to do mainstory in their games i purchased to play. Sarcasm aside
