Again with the blame on Sony, is not up to Sony at all. SE is either being lazy or cheap that's why we don't have it up on the PS store yet. Is not up to Sony, heck there's games available for preorder on the PS store that won't come out until 2016.

No, it's Sony's.

SE doesn't directly control the PSN store. They can try all they want, but it's all Sony's rules when to actually let people preorder via PSN.

I sent a tweet to AskSony twitter support account just to finally learn what is really up, they said it's up to the developer/publisher when they want their games up in the store. Obviously is not as easy as SE just saying please put my game up in the store, they have to pay a fee and what not, there's a process but one that is definitely Square Enix to blame.

It very much is Sony in control regarding PSN, else we'd not have had this happen.

Do not download this add on as if you do then you will no longer be able to play ffxiv, the only fix is to re-install the game and leave the add-on unchecked. The error message you will receive is "unable to complete version check [20458][24530][20457][404]".
Next time SE make sure that we are unable to even use the codes in the PSN store until the actual download works and doesn't mess with console players ability to play the game.

Square had to go and do an emergency hotfix to keep the codes Sony Europe shouldn't have allowed to work from working. But you should have known that, you posted in the very thread.
