I'm actually pretty sure that the act of moving pops off the song. This means that you have to recast it every time you want to dodge out of the way of something.
Yep but you can technically still use the song for when you're just standing at a bosses butt and buffing. So I accept this change. .-.

I think the reasoning for this is so that the new song can be played at the same time as Foe. Since this looks to be something that will be good for BRD opener and not having the ability to Foe at the start would completely shit all over BLM/SMN openers.

Not if you have Foe's on...most of these comments must be coming from players that do not play Bard. It is hard to say until we actually see all the abilities and what the actual wording on them is but the way I see it is that you will most likely still do the burst opener and then use the song when able to maintain your dps during the time your buffs are on cool down and then you can go back into burst when it is available again. Sidewinder sounds like it is going to be pretty bad ass to me. I hope that is not all the abilities they get and I wonder what the "changes" to their abilities will be.

It doesn't, the stance stays til u remove it yourself. So if you have to move and try to pop something too soon you could appear to be having a seizure with your character's skill animations.
