The whole Summoner "has been re-worked" is sad

System in the future? First they said we would get new pets at level cap increase, now no new pets, but oh wait in the "future" we might be able to change their appearance. How is this not going to be ready for launch?

If i remember it right, they only said that we don't get new pets without a level cap increase.

That with the Bahamut skill can be a "back to the roots" for SMN. Instead of a pet the Summoner summon a deity for a strong single attack, only without a 5 minute cutscene and without the deity showing up.

I dont want more ARC skills i am a SMN :S i want pet skills and be ale to Sumoon a wide range of stuff, no mater if they have no big diference betwen each other.... i want my egi as main DPS weapon

NO, those are more "nuker" skills... i am playing a SMN job so i want my Summon to be my MAIN weapon and source of DPS... neither a DOT job as ARC.... i want new ways to heal/support my pet... i want my pet to look GOOD, i dont care about the size but even primal weapons have better desings and effects compare to our egis... "nukes" are not SMN skills... may SE need to check how SMN play in other older MMOs like L2

then you never played the older FF's which is what this summon is based on which is why it's summon is only some of it's dps unlike FF11 which changed summons to actually be useful.

The ONLY way to do damage as SMN in any FF (like FFIII) was Summoning something.... dunno what ur talking about

May "worthless" for you? but thats the way SMN play... summoning stuff and they do the damage "for you" , if u dont like to "summon worthless stuff" play a nuker ,like blm, and do the damage "yourself"

the point being they always did white magic (healing) or black magic too. and the summons were mp guzzling worthless dps.

~taps your shoulder~ I believe Anima and the Magus Sisters from the international version would like to have a word with you on uselessness. Heck even normal Magus Sisters without the 6 hit ultimate were game breaking

You know there are more than 2 final fantasy games right? And that the gameplay/ascetics changes for each one? Everyone has their favorite version of summoner, but there's no "true summoner." Summoner is whatever SE decides it is.
