What NEW races would you like to see?

I don't mean to be a downer but since this is their world I'd like them to stick to their guns. Female roe, male miqo, female highland. Maybe something from ivalice, like gria boy and girl.

Anything from normal style fantasy, <no thanks>

I personally want to see a Whole new race unique to Eorzea and It's lore, maybe something with Horns, Wings, Claws. Something like a Half-Ascian sounds really cool, a Wizard-like race(looks like Ramuh?), a Ninja-like race, a Half-ghost type race(Eye glows, and a soul enters the body when engaged), etc.

EDIT:Something like Gria, from FFT Series/Ivalice sounds really nice and I think it suits the Final Fantasy feel Also, Bangaa ftw!!! +Mandragoras(jk, I know I'm dreaming ; ; )

As for the Creation, I think they said they'll make it so people will be able to get a One-time change after the new changes.

I hope people can take this seriously as they might consider some ideas in this thread since it's pretty popular already.

Would love for more individuality in this game than just Miqo'tes.

So the Viera are the race that was in FF9? Think the characters name was Freya? I think that would be acceptable. ^^

Vieras are from FF XII. Freya Crescent from IX was a Burmecian, a rat race

Mixed races!
Miqo'te + Lalafell mix, Elezan + Hume, etc ^^

and Viera!!! Viera + Lalafell mix.. would be omg dawww~!

Miqo'te seem to be the one race that has the most differences and fantasy feel about them.

Basing around Hyurs; Elezen have the long ears and are taller, Lalafell also have long ears but are shorter, Highlanders are just a bit larger and bulkier, Roegadyns are like Highlanders except more weighted on that scale, and the Miqo'te have different ears altogether and tails.

But everything still looks too human from one to another. Looks human=good in FF online books for playable. Looks like a humanoid beast=nuh uh, this is going under hostile enemy territory.

In regards I'm talking to the population in general. The miqo'tes pretty much outway all the other races.

And I'm also talking about customization. There are only a handful of hairstyles. You can't customize the muscularity of your character or make your character look different. Scars can't be put in specific places. Can't put your own cosmetic (make up) and whatnot. I just wished it would have been as "customized" as they said it was prior to release.

I know this not new to say but if they do anything, I'd like it to be simple. Just Femal Roes and of course Male Miqo'tes.

BUT, more options to individulize our characters would be nice. NOT too much just a few more things to make them a tad more your own.

Otherwise, I'm happy with what we have personaly and just think more important items should be corrected/tweaked first. GO GO DEVS!
