but its optional...and they'll make a new quest similar to that.
I don't like it. endgame players should spend most of their game times to do endgame content, not being forced to do FATEs or run low level dungeons 50 times.
grinding is bad enough but grinding boring content is way worse than that. at least make us run Alexander 50 times and not old content again (for the new relic quest, I hope).
I think worst steps now are books and zodiac...

It has already been nerfed. And since the Zeta Zodiac will be rendered useless and you will have another new Relic in 3.0 or 3.1 then why not wait for the new instead?

This is entirely speculative at this point since they've announced no information on the new 'relic' weapons, not even what they might look like.
I'd like to think they've at least taken to heart how many people absolutely loathe the 'luck' aspect to grinding a zodiac weapon, not to mention the endless repeats of yesteryear's content in some desperate bid to keep it relevant. It's my hope that they'll build on these lessons and create a fun experience that everyone can enjoy. Not just those with countless hours to waste grinding.

Actually we do know what they look like, but that's pretty much all we know. You see them front and center in the new benchmark and they were showcased alongside AF2 in some of the recent Heavensward promotional videos.
They need to stop nerfing evertying. If I wanted an easy time I'd go play barbies horse adventure.

Really? And you don't think you're being just a little selfish? Did you read your last thread on this? You were legit asking why you should even help a new player in your old thread then you turn face to say you helped so many without dropping out and stuff in this new thread?i called u selfish, it's because u went through something bad, and u want everyone else to go through with it just because u did. the RNG is horrable, we all know and u say u even dont like it, so why keep forcing it like this? there need to be some minimum expectation of how many hours u need to put to get a certain item, like ballparck. lets say 5 hour to 10 hour max, or, 5 to 20 dungens max. i am not saying i dont want to put work, but i am asking for some resnable expectation to finish 1 of the items, not endless grinding, without any reward in some cases
And so we're clear about the quest, That part takes long then the ilvl130 is a piece of flippin' cake. Do you literally want everyone running around with a i130 weapon without putting even 10% of effort into it? I think you need to research a little more about why this is roadblocked instead of QQ'ing over everyone else's luck being better because they are farming and not spending time complaining on the forums.
But then again, you should already know all of this because unlike someone who probably doesn't even have a zodiac yet...
I'm not saying this is easy or that I like the system btw, but I understand why the system is put into place especially considering the fact that people tend to say "This is so boring, give us this and that SE because we're already done with x y and z in a matter of a week." so I think it probably won't get easier till heavensward.
Edit: I also want to say, my objection to this isn't even so others can't enjoy or experience the content for themselves. I want people to get their Zeta, I want people to enjoy as much content as they allow themselves to go through and enjoy. I don't want content to be dumbed down for unnecessary reasons like someone feeling lazy or entitled though.

Its okay now, SE won't touch that quest at this point. So its now time for us to look *places hand on lillia's shoulder* ....Heavensward.
