Yes, you feel like you've beaten the random roll of dice. Yay?

I would prefer to feel like I earned it through payment for effort. That's why I like systems where running content = some type of currency reward = purchase what you want with it.

Truthfully the RNG is a very small portion of that quest. The quest entails 4 items that are bought with 100K gil, each from NPC vendor. 8 items that are from each of the crafting classes. 16 items from dungeons (RNG). 4 items bought with Grand Company Seals. 4 Items that are bought using Soldiery.

Less than half of the items needed are RNG. But that didn't stop ANY of the complaining. It has nothing to do with RNG and everything to do with ppl not wanting to run dungeons more than once or twice for their drop.
