If it's your first trip into Castrum, any axe will be fine. Unfortunately, your party members are unlikely to wait for you to watch the cutscenes before they initiate the battles. May as well be prepared for that when you enter.

Don't be shocked if they also try and Vote Kick you for watching them. Seriously, people seem to have this disgusting attitude when running the last two 2.0 story dungeons. Watch the videos to your heart's content, though. It's your $10 a month, do what you want.
Although I disagree with blatant vote kick abuse, the "it's my $10 a month attitude" is an incredibly selfish one to take, since it's technically "our $70 a month" too.

But that's just it, you aren't paying for their subscription so you have no say in how they play. And it's not 'our $70' as much as it's 'your $10'. I routinely wait for people to watch cutscenes because it's only decent to give them that time. We were all in that spot, running content for the first time. It's only fair to let them have their few minutes of movies. It isn't hurting anyone.
