Got myself a Asus PB287Q 4K monitor today, and my Score went from 14100 on 2560x1600, down to 7800+ on 3840x2160 on Max settings.
I am pretty happy with my new Gigabyte G1Gaming GTX980s ^^
My I5 4690K could have been better though, but cant afford that this year. Maybe next year I will invest in the latest I7 CPU

Yeah I've been looking into those 2 cards exactly. Nvidia has won me over in recent years thanks to the gtx 650ti boost that i've been sporting since ARR release so I may go with the 960 but I've heard nothing but good things about the upper end R9 series from ati. *sigh* decisions, decisions. My options are slightly limited as well because my case isnt huge.

5187 "very high" everything maxed running at 1920x1080 in DX11.

Considering I can run the current game client smooth as butter with everything maxed @ 2560 x 1440 downsampled to 1920x1080 via Nvidia DSR never dropping below 30fps even in large crowds/battles/dungeons, I'm not overly concerned since DX11 will actually improve performance.

My PC specs ( which aren't impressive since I last upgraded 3-4 years ago ):

    Processor: Intel Pentium G3220 Haswell Dual-Core 3.0GHz LGA 1150 54W Desktop Processor
    Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL
Motherboard: ASRock H81M-DGS R2.0 LGA 1150 Intel H81 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Video Card: ASUS GTX660-DC2O-2GD5 G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview 10074

I got a score of 6328 with a 1920x1080 monitor in max settings and with Directx11. Yay Not amazing, but I'm very happy with it.

Something I have noticed using a 4K monitor, is when I turn my GFX settings from MAX to just Standard, I can hardly see ANY difference.
Anti Aliasing is also pointless to have activated as the 4K resolution has 4 times the amount of pixels anyway. So with my new custom settings, I had a score of 10358 on 4K resolution

Indeed on 4k there is no need for AA to be on.

Why run SLI and such low resolution? Its like owning a sports car and choosing a bicycle instead @__@

    I have an R9 290x with an AMD 8-core 4ghz processor, i hit 8414 with DX11 settings on maximum.
They tend to optimize better on nVidia cards, which annoys me no end.
