Its only gimpped if your running 4k resolutions. Otherwise its fine, as the benchmarks will show ya

dx11 9775 extremely high, that is crazy i have a old i5 2.4ghz, and a gtx 970

Except for the video card I had to replace because my old one broke my computer is more or less a piece of crap not sure why it would score that high.

Your score was that high because thats a high end graphic card. Yes its true the CPU does do some of the work in 3D games,, but most is done by the GPU.

It's not a big deal. The card has 4GBs of ram. 3.5 of that is fast, the last .5 is slow. It shouldn't matter much for FF14 unless you're playing at an extremely high resolution. I have a 970, and the card handles the game great. My score was 11565.

The internet did kind of blow up on it. But for what it's worth, and for FF14, the card is great.

I have an R9 290x with an AMD 8-core 4ghz processor, i hit 8414 with DX11 settings on maximum.
They tend to optimize better on nVidia cards, which annoys me no end.
