The most populous races in a given place fluctuate with time. For instance, most of the Allag (3A) we've seen have looked hyuran, and yet the Elezen (6A) once thought Eorzea was theirs by right, gifted by the Twelve themselves (and that was based on their numbers after the miqo'te showed up). A lot can happen between two umbral eras; it's roughly a thousand years of population flux, migration, and the fading of Allag remnants. Moreover, patterns suggest that even if the Allag did specifically enslave Meracydians in the sunset of the Third Astral, Miqo'te-ness it would have been incidental; I'm sure they'd have chained them, the dragons, and all the others who happened to be represented in the area at the time, same as every other area they conquered (assuming they slavery was a big thing in their Empire at all).

    PS
Do you have any idea how many times I've gotten messages asking what quest told people's Miqo'te roleplayer friends that systematic and culture-wide Miqo'te-specific sex slavery is established canon (as if trafficking falls in and out of vogue over the years and confines itself to a race at a time)? I shake my fist in your general direction if you had a hand in this, good sir!
