First of all, I didn't call you a fanboy. I said that some fanboys make up some pretty incredible excuses, I didn't say you did because your excuse wasn't incredible at all.

Second of all, we can just agree to disagree on the third week of the month being late or not (I clearly disagree since the 22nd is barely after the third week, which as you know is simply 3/4s of a month, clearly not the last 90% or so which would imply "late") but that's no reason to call someone ignorant.

It's all semantics anyway, there's clearly no point in arguing over it, nor is there a reason for namecalling.

I'm only slightly dissapointed because despite the quite large amount of content 1.19 is bringing (I'm overall happy with the patch) it's just NOT ENOUGH, at least for me. And since it's coming "late september" (which might mean early october at the earliest, look at their track record) this patch will be marking the 1st Anniversary since the games launch... And that's just dissapointing considering that one year ago I was expecting this game to have completely flipped around by then. It clearly hasn't.

I get your feeling don't get me wrong. I am extatic about this patch, there is so much stuff in it that it sounds like a monster patch like Yoshi said, assuming the chocobos do make it in 1.19. And I am a bit bumped out because I thought 1.19 would come late august and that 1.20 would be late september, end of summer since I had the feeling that 1.20 was marking the end of the big battle overhaul which was supposed to be over at the end of summer.

As for the fanboy thing, I might have misunderstood. I know you did not call me a fanboy but I thought it wrong to call others that since the end of summer is the end of September for some. But if you said that people are making excuses because you thought 1.20 would be at the end of summer like I did, then yes I understand your frustration.

That's exactly it.

The fact of the matter is, wether 1.19 comes out in the Summer or not, it doesn't really matter because that overall "end of summer" schedule just won't be reached, no matter what. Which is extremely dissapointing, at least for me.

I really was hoping 1.19 would be August and 1.20 would be September... I'd even sacrifice some of the content in this 1.19 just to get it earlier, but I really don't see any of that happening.

That's exactly it.

Now I understand the comment better and yes they will not meet the end of summer schedule for the "planned summer updates" that was stated in letter X (I think).

But the content of this patch still is awsome and covers almost everything that was planned. Just missing some battle tweaks and the regimen rework.
