I would like to see a new character as our DRK mentor. Really hope it's a female character, more like an intense, driven one person inquisition. Branded a heretic by the church she purges that holy place of false lights, choosing to live in exile once her mission is complete leaving her student to take up the the mantel Dark Knight.

IIRC my DGN final quest, the guy hated you and Alberic as failures, you kick Estinien ass, he's almost dead and goes berserk with the eye, Nidhogg speaks to him offering power to beat you and he clearly accepts it.
Now, it's true after he fails (when the WoL dons the full DGN armor) you never see his body.....but even if he escaped, it seemed pretty clear he was still alive because of the power Nidhogg gave him.
And now, he shows up fighting against Nidhogg?....lol the power that saved him? what stops Nidhogg from stripping him of his power and send him to the grave?

I'm not sure exactly how much control Nidhogg had in that situation. Do remember that the power came from the Eye and the Eye and Nidhogg are pretty separate right now. Nidhogg infact seems pretty desperate to reclaim it.

Regardless his reasons for hating Nidhogg outweigh any hatred towards us. As for what exactly happened at the end of the fight with him, I again think what happened with our characters might be part of it. We didn't just don full Dragoon armour.

We literally took the form of an ancient Elezen Dragoon wreathed in light.

After all Thancred survived our attacks while possessed as well and it wasn't Ascian power that preserved his life.

The commander od the temple knights is not DK, that is much obious. Like Alacran I think the Job trainer will be a new character.

That link is in the very first post. Just bearing the appearance of one thing doesn't automatically mean someone's disposition is obvious, and not knowing what Aymeric is up to is a big part of his character.

The lore said that they are warrios that protect the smalfork, that they do justice with they own very hands. When the law doesnt work, they act. Have you guys seen Batman or The punisher? Is the same concept. Not not that they are forbiden warriors, or traitors, etc.

Batman is acting in a vigilante fashion outside the law. Technically it is forbidden, it's illegal. The people of course don't outcry, but that doesn't change the fact he is technically breaking rules.

Yes, on that you are right. Thats what I tried to said, but some people I think that they didnt understand quite well the role of the DK. Some even thought that they were like mercenaries? ><

The commander of the temple knight may be in contact with the DK organization, but given his rank and his reputation is hard to think, at least on the public, that he is a DK.
