"Have no plans to make" and "really really should make, I mean please SE this would be an awesome either Gold Saucer or completely separate spinoff doesn't matter, but we need it." are two completely different things.

Im sure we all aware of that, but still it does leave ppl intrigued about it.

Damn, Yda's player was really bad, having to fall back on their Assist Counter. They kinda deserved having their spotlight stolen by Minfillia.

But yeah, while might not currently be planning to add something like this to the game, it'd certainly make for a fun and interesting addition to the Gold Saucer. I could see it being set up such that, at the start you only have access to playing as yourself and the Scions, and then as you complete various challenges (such as, Beat Arcade Mode on Hard, or in a short amount of time) you unlock more fighters. I could see Hildibrand being the "Dan Hibiki" of this sort of fighting game...
