After seeing that FG version of FFXIV: ARR

Seeing that dev test looking like a SF-ish fighting game, "ultimate fight final fantasy xiv" uploaded not too long ago today.....@6:25ish am EST.....except the unnecessary CS. If they were to actually do that w/ a team that known to make fighting games using that tech to make FFXIV I can see potential of it cause who doesn't want to play those characters in a fighting game. NOT DISSIDIA mind you. Something like that can be possible, what do you think?

Except the massively long Limit Break cutscenes, I say they should do this, would be so much fun.

Well they specifically mention at the end of the clip that they have no plans to make a fighting game. It's just the dev team being silly, like the 8-bit titan EX video.

I think this might be hard to implement with actual gameplay involved. The video was just made in the engine and using the models, as an actual mini-game though :/ it will not work.

"Have no plans to make" and "really really should make, I mean please SE this would be an awesome either Gold Saucer or completely separate spinoff doesn't matter, but we need it." are two completely different things.
