Favorite Boss Intro?

Can be any of the dungeon bosses, primals, or the coil bosses (that soon follow up with Calamity Unbound.)

Mine would personally be T11. You step into the Core Override, and you get ambushed The Avatar whom entered the arena via an Allagan Taxi. The thunder SFX is also a nice, silly touch to it. I can't take it seriously, esp with the pose it does at the end.

Both from the 'final' battles in the original 2.0 main scenario (spoilered for new players just joining):

Ultima Weapon's second stage, even though most players just skip the scene - even cutting out the cutscene that links the two parts of the battle together, I love how the camera pans and zooms in and out around the flaming battle field while focused on your character after Lahabrea finishes gloating and Gaius taunts the player, while the aetherial chanting of Ultima begin - it's awesome stuff.

Lahabrea's 'final' battle after that also has a subdued but still awesome intro, especially as he taunts your player that "it's high time their flame was extingushed!" - and then he proceeds to fold faster than Superman on laundry day in the succeeding battle.

I love Garuda's intro. Even though I've seen it a hundred times, I still like to watch every once in a while.

Honestly, Ifrit's intro is still hard to beat. I mean, he eclipses the sun as his intro! Titan just forms from nearby rocks, ooh scary. Garuda descends from the clouds... she probably has a couch up there she lays on all MLP style. But Ifrit follows the Megamind school of villiany, "It's about presentation!"

Taulurd from Dzemael Darkhold by far. The "AN ENEMY APPEARS!" text and he comes walking in the next few seconds is too awesome.

Garuda's is always beast.

Though, I wish they did more natural entrances instead of cutaways all the time.

Like, cinematic view entrances (a dragon crashing through a wall into his boss pose as you're running up to the boss gate with no cutscene taking you away from the normal view).

garuda laugh and tornado are hard to beat , ifrit second , eclipse , fire explosion and falling from the sky? yeah

Turn 12. The chills everyone got watching the cutscene...teamspeak went from silent to OMG in that one instant...

Ultima part 2 was amazing as well, another favorite for sure.
