Endgame is not an entitlement, why do the players with no time and worse skills treat it as such? I know SE has to appeal to the lowest denominator, however T5 and T9 are meant to be a wall. I understand you might not have the time to learn it in a static, however you have all the resources available to you to get a clear another way. Party Finder exists, throw up a learning party and get on a voice comms with people, use your networking skills and build a LS with people whom you'd love to experience end game with.
People complain about the turns not being easy enough, I promise you that 60% of you are simply waiting for it to be as easy as a dungeon. Yet the second you're called out on your mistakes, you label that person as an elitist. You need to realize that, YOU can be held accountable to your lack of skill, if you have bigger things going on in your life (loved ones, children, work) Then MMOs just might not be your cup of tea, and I'm sorry to break that to you. Just because you can realistically only put in 10 hours a week, doesn't mean that the game has to be tuned to your 10 hours a week playstyle.
Atma drop increase (again)
zodiac drop increase
alex' from fates drop increase
zodiac quest alteration to allow NQ crafted hand-ins...
All wishful thinking
THIS is the main issue between players. The deluded pro wannabes who "believe" they are great, disagree with the nerf and the echo, well NO everyone got a static to practice. but that doesn't mean that they are better than others. Well that's what they want to believe anyway.I don't want echobut it probably is that...
To the people that say, "why do you care about them easing on old content"... well, not everyone have been in a static for a longer time and progressed through it all... That doesn't mean you're not good enough, or that you want it to get easier.
the echo and nerf is to encourage the game to be more approachable for Everyone specially for those with no static. Some people need to come down from cloud 9. People clearing coil on day one are not different from people clearing on last day.
And I ask conversely why do those who've 'been there, done that' treat it as such? Every time Square has eased the difficulty on Coil or added Echo people come out of the woodworks crying, "y u nerf coil?" like someone went and spit on their shiny new shoes. This has been the case with every patch that so much as breathes towards Coil. I, for one, don't get the rancor as this not only has no effect on them, but also allows those with 'no time and worse skills' to enjoy Coil at their pace. And that's what's more important.
Umm there's a difference in satisfaction to be achieved from clearing something before it was nerfed. I cleared T7 after the nerf, never before the nerf. I went in and one shotted it blindly after reading a guide very briefly. However if this was pre-nerf that wouldn't have worked at all.
I want to feel like my win meant something and in order for that to feeling to exist in me, I can't go around bragging about my clear on something that was nerfed first now can I? While all the other gamers who were fortunate enough to have beaten it before the nerf can pretty much shove that in my face FOREVER. This may not mean anything to many of the casual gamers but it means the world to me as a gamer and I really don't think anyone understands my feelings here because I am a whole different mindset than the mainstream players of this game.
It will just be turning off the Easter event. Nothing more. Every MMORPG has this thing about pushing patches to turn events on/off so players can't manipulate/hack the game client to gain access to features that are only available during the event, outside the event.http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...0301a81b759a29
Looks like we getting a patch this week. Will this be the FCoB nerfs and echo most likely?
If it was, they wouldn't number the patch. They'd just say "maintenance"It will just be turning off the Easter event. Nothing more. Every MMORPG has this thing about pushing patches to turn events on/off so players can't manipulate/hack the game client to gain access to features that are only available during the event, outside the event.
I personally didn't care if they nerfed FCOB but now I want it to be nerfed to hell and back, just to annoy the people here whining about it. But hey, at least you can still all brag about how hardcore you are about clearing it pre-nerf, right?
